Set against a changing Hong Kong, the story follows veteran lawyers Fan Xiao Yu and Rao Li Hong, whose complicated past is reignited when personal and professional conflicts collide. As their young protégés navigate their first major cases and challenges, the lawyers must confront their own tangled relationships while adapting to a new generation and a changing legal world.
