A powerful earthquake strikes Xichuan, and lawyer Luo Ben heads to the disaster area to find his younger sister, Luo Yuan, who is mute. There, he meets the Light Chaser Rescue team, led by Captain Qing Shan, and his sister's friend, Xiong Fei, a key member of the team. Luo Ben also runs into Zhan Yan, a doctor he didn’t think highly of before, but soon comes to admire for her kindness and skill. As Luo Ben witnesses the bravery and teamwork of the rescue volunteers, he is inspired to join the team. Along with new recruits Zhou Min Ming and Ding Ding Ding, Luo Ben goes through intense training with Captain Qing Shan and faces dangerous situations like earthquakes, fires, floods, and storms. As they grow into a strong rescue unit, they risk their lives to help others—but will love bloom even in these tough times?
