While on patrol, EU sergeant Ling San Fung and her team are called to assist in a criminal chase. A gunfight breaks out, and her father is tragically killed by a stray bullet. As San Fung continues the pursuit, a mysterious natural phenomenon suddenly transports her back in time—to April 1st, three days before the incident. Realizing she can now time-travel, she sets out to prevent her father's death.

However, changing the past comes at a cost. Her actions trigger a chain of unforeseen consequences. A village chief known as “Ditch,” an ICAC informant, uncovers her secret and uses her ability to investigate corrupt officers—while hiding a dark secret of his own. San Fung soon learns she isn’t the only one who can manipulate time—and that altering the past doesn’t guarantee control over the future.
