The 2013 Chinese historical drama "Sleek Rat, the Challenger" follows the story of Bai Yutang, a skilled knight-errant who, driven by jealousy and a desire for recognition, challenges his sworn brother Zhan Zhao, the newly appointed "Imperial Cat". Bai Yutang, known as the "Sleek Rat" and a member of the "Five Rats," uses his martial arts skills to cause havoc and capture Zhan Zhao. He is eventually captured by his sworn brother, Jiang Ping, and forced to submit to the government. The emperor, impressed by his abilities, assigns him to assist in a rebellion, but Bai Yutang's arrogance leads to his tragic demise in a deadly trap.
