Gentle and refined Du Bing Yan is sent to marry the frail Qi Tian Lei in hopes that her beauty will improve his health, while spirited Li Yu Hu is betrothed to the formidable General Yuan Bu Qu. Though neither bride welcomes her arranged match, both dutifully set off for their weddings. When a sudden rainstorm forces the bridal processions to take shelter at a temple, a monk warns of an approaching bandit attack. Amid the ensuing panic, the two brides are accidentally switched between their wedding sedans and unknowingly arrive at each other's grooms' homes.
