After a drug trial incident, renowned pharmaceutical doctor Kong Tung Kin opens his own clinic to start anew. One day, he's approached by a mysterious man named Toi Fung, who claims to be Satan and demands the life of one of Kin’s patients. When Kin refuses and instead offers his own life, Fung is intrigued.

Curious about human nature, Fung begins meddling in Kin’s personal and professional life—including pursuing Fong Siu Fong, a nurse Kin secretly loves.

Tempted by promises of wealth and fame, Kin eventually makes a dark bargain: he sells his soul. But as his fortunes rise, he slowly loses the kindness and compassion that once defined him—without even realizing it.
